- Transits of planets through important points of the horoscope
- Retrograde Saturn and Mercury
- Special Full Moon
Greetings, dear friends and seekers of harmony! July 2025, believe me, promises to be a time of truly profound internal changes and powerful energy flows. This is not just a summer month; it is a unique opportunity for each of us to carry out important internal work, using the influence of the planets and special cosmic events. Let’s look together at this amazing calendar and find out what the stars have prepared for us.
July’s energetic rhythm: days of strength and moments for caution
As an experienced astrologer, I see that each month has its own unique pulse, its own periods of ebb and flow of energy. July is no exception. We will have days when the Universe itself will favor our undertakings, and moments when it is worth being especially careful.
Write down these dates:
- Power Days: 2, 5, 8, 15, 22, 25 and 29 July. These days, like powerful waves, will carry us to our goals, helping to implement our plans and make important decisions. Use them for active actions, for launching new projects, for those steps that have been postponed for a long time;
- Weak days, or as I call them, “Empty Hand Days”: 3-4, 9, 13-14, 19, 23 and 28 July. On these dates, the energy thickens like fog, creating invisible obstacles. My advice: refrain from making large purchases, concluding important deals, or making fateful decisions. It is better to devote them to calm contemplation or to completing current affairs.
Special Dates for the Soul: Immersion in Ancient Practices
July will present us with several unique opportunities to deepen our spiritual practice, which will help you cleanse your mind, body and prepare for new stages in life.
Ekadashi: days of fasting and purification
Twice a month, like the breath of the Universe, special days come – Ekadashi. This is the 11th day after the new moon and the full moon, when fasting and spiritual practices become especially strong. I always recommend abstaining from grains and legumes on these days, because this is not just a diet, but a deep cleansing that helps the body and mind gain clarity.
- July 6, Sunday – Devshayani Ekadashi. The fast begins at 03:54, and you can end it on July 7, between 03:54 and 06:24;
- July 21, Monday – Kamika Ekadashi. Start the fast at 04:15 and end it on July 22nd, between 04:15 and 06:45.
July 8 – 13: Jaya Parvati Vrat – Special Fast for Women
This is not just a fast, dear women, this is a deep ritual aimed at harmonizing your personal life and family happiness. If you are unmarried and looking for a worthy life partner, these days can significantly increase your chances. For married women, this fast will become a powerful support for the spouse, helping him to strengthen his health and discover new opportunities.
I am convinced: The Jaya Parvati Vrat ritual, when performed correctly, promotes deep harmonization of life together, strengthens the health of the entire family, and attracts the blessings of Shiva and Parvati, the divine couple symbolizing unity and prosperity. For this ritual, you will need only simple but symbolic things: wheat grains and a pot of earth.
July 10: Full Moon in Sagittarius and Holy Day of Guru Purnima
The Full Moon always brings a powerful emotional and energetic boost. On July 10, the Moon will be in Sagittarius, which increases our desire for adventure, for something new and unknown. Routine and monotonous activities will be more difficult on this day, because our Mind, like an arrow, will strive into the distance.
My advice: Don’t plan anything that requires painstaking work and attention to detail. Allow yourself to dream and expand your horizons.
And it is on this day, July 10, that a special event occurs –“Guru Purnima” or Teacher Appreciation Day. This is one of the most significant days to send a powerful request to the Universe.
According to the Vedas, the Teacher is not just a person; he is a manifestation of Being, the Absolute, who speaks to us, our higher self, leading us to ourselves.
On this day, we express our deepest gratitude to all those who taught us life lessons, who shared knowledge and helped us realize important things, even if these lessons were bitter and difficult. If you have a specific Guru (spiritual mentor), dedicate your prayers of gratitude to him. If not, then thank your parents and all those invisible Teachers who have met you on your path and helped you grow.
For whom is this day especially important?
Practicing on Guru Purnima Day will help you if:
- You feel stuck and have a hard time expanding your projects or life horizons.
- You are actively engaged in self-development, but you are faced with financial difficulties.
- It is difficult for you to control your impulses; you often get angry, irritated, and are unrestrained.
- You are disappointed in life or people, experiencing problems in relationships with loved ones or children.
- You have destructive habits that are difficult to break.
- Are you suffering from weight or health problems due to your cravings for sweets?
- In your horoscope, Jupiter is not positioned favorably (if you are familiar with your natal chart).
- You are looking for your spiritual guide, or if Shiva is your personal patron deity (Ishta devata).
What is the benefit of fasting and repeating the mantra on this day?
I can tell you from my experience: fasting and repeating the mantra on this day helps to see a new path, find a new beginning and let go of the old. There is a subtle, but important difference: During the 16 days following the Full Moon (July 10th to July 25th), we work on ourselves and can take a vow to harmonize some bad habits. And on July 21st, we reconfigure our thinking system to deep gratitude.
“Guru Purnima” practice:
Start your morning with a prayer of gratitude to your Teacher. Throughout the day, find a way to personally thank those who have mentored you – call, write, or meet.
I will share with you a short but very powerful version Guru’s mantras:
ॐ ॐ ॐ गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुर्गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः
गुरुः साक्षात्परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः
Om Om Om gurur brahmā gurur viṣṇur gurur devo maheśvaraḥ,
guruḥ sākṣāt paraṁ brahma tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ.
What does this mean? To that Guru who is Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the Preserver) and Shiva (the Destroyer). To that Guru who is the direct embodiment of the Supreme Brahman, salutations to that great Guru.
Just a word, “Guru“ literally means “removing darkness”. This mantra helps us develop faith in ourselves and find our unique path, illuminating it with the light of knowledge. In yogic traditions, the Guru is a spiritual guide who helps us follow the path of truth.
Important Planetary Transits in July 2025: Celestial Clues
In addition to the lunar cycles, the movement of the planets also has a significant impact on our lives, creating a special energy background for the month.
Saturn Retrograde in Pisces (July 13 to November 28)
This period, when Saturn, the planet of discipline and karma, moves retrograde in the sign of Pisces, can feel like a time of slowness or even testing. However, as an astrologer, I do not see this as a problem, but as a tremendous opportunity! This is a time given to us for deep inner work, to correct the mistakes of the past and to lay a truly strong foundation for future success.
Ask yourself questions: “What do I believe in? How does it affect my life?”. Saturn, although harsh, exposes our illusions and false idealizations if they hinder our development. This is a wonderful time to neutralize internal doubts.
Influence of the Sun in Cancer (mid-June – mid-July)
During this period, when the Sun is in the constellation of Cancer, our emotional sphere becomes more sensitive. You may notice that others begin to violate your personal boundaries more intensively. Perhaps, there will be a desire to run away somewhere, go on a long trip. If this is impossible, an inexplicable melancholy or obsessive thoughts may come over you. Family matters may become a source of tension, and quarrels with relatives are possible.
My advice: Use this time to work with ancestral karma, to let go of resentments towards parents and to seek a deep connection with your roots, as well as with those souls who were nearby in past lives.
Mercury Retrograde (July 18 to August 11)
From July 18, the lessons of Saturn will be supplemented by the retrograde of Mercury, the planet of communication and thinking. This period can bring delays in business, misunderstandings and failures in technology. If you know your natal chart, pay attention to which houses these two planets (Saturn and Mercury) are located in to understand which areas of life require your attention and rethinking. Nature, like a wise teacher, gives us clues through the influence of the fastest and slowest planets.
Last important transits of July
- July 26: Venus Transits Gemini. This will bring lightness and playfulness to communication, enhance our social activity and creative impulses. A great opportunity for making new acquaintances and expressing yourself.
- July 28: Transit of Mars into the constellation Virgo. Mars, the planet of action, in Virgo will bring attention to detail, orderliness and practicality in affairs. This is an ideal time for organizing, planning and completing projects that require precision.
July 29: Nag Panchami – A Unique Day for Harmonizing Karma
July 29th is a special day –“Nag Panchami”. This is a unique day to begin upaya – the practice of harmonizing the energies of the karmic axis of Rahu and Ketu. In Vedic astrology, Rahu and Ketu are shadow planets that symbolize our karmic knots and past lessons. Working with them helps to reduce their unconstructive influence and open up new, more favorable paths. I will give a detailed technique of the ritual in Telegram channels of the Club.
How to Use the Powers of This Month: Practical Tips
To make the most of the energies of July, I want to share with you some practical tips.
Samkalpa Practice: The Power of Intention
Pay special attention to the practice of yoga nidra with the establishment of samkalpa (powerful intention). To obtain a noticeable effect, it is necessary to perform this practice at least 7 days in a row, without skipping. Ideally, and this has been proven in our experience, if you do this for 21 days. It is important not to fall asleep during the session, but to be consciously present in the process. This ritual, which will consist of four independent practices, will help you set a strong intention.
Ritual structure (approximate timing):
- Breathing techniques and mantras. About 10 minutes, which will help you tune in to the practice and activate internal vibrations.
- Yin Yoga. About 30 minutes to balance the energies of body and mind.
- Formation of Samkalpa. 15 minutes to clearly formulate your intention.
- Yoga Nidra. 40-45 minutes for deep relaxation and consolidation of Samkalpa.
Essential Oils: Fine-Tuning Energy
Essential oils are great helpers in creating the right atmosphere and harmonizing energy. If you tend to allergies, do not apply oils directly to the skin.
- To start practice. I recommend using Frankincense or Santal oil. They will help clear the space and tune in. If you don’t have oils, Palo Santo sticks or natural incense (not on a bamboo stick, but the kind you can buy at a church) will do. Dried mugwort or mugwort in cones will also work well. Important: Avoid the black bamboo-based incense sticks often sold in stores, as they may negatively affect the effect of the ritual.
- Application. Place a few drops of oil on your wrists or behind your ears at the beginning of your practice, or before each stage of the ritual – whatever feels most comfortable to you.
- To finish. I recommend finishing the practice with any citrus oil – mandarin, orange, or lemon. Apply it to your wrist and inhale. This, like a seal, will secure the energies received and help you “return” in a cheerful and resourceful state. If there is no oil, you can simply inhale the aroma of fresh citrus.
And, taking this opportunity, I would like to add:If you want to better understand how essential oils can affect your condition, help with self-diagnosis and harmonization, I highly recommend taking aroma diagnostics course, which is run by my wife, Olya Amitara. She is a true expert in this field and will help you to unleash the full potential of these amazing assistants.
