March starts with the 2nd lunar day during the waxing Moon
This is a good start to spring 2025. However, remember that Venus begins its retrograde motion on March 2, followed by Mercury on March 15, continuing until mid-April.
Let me break down these transits in order. Venus’s retrograde cycle lasts from March 2 to April 13, 2025, in the constellation of Pisces. This means Pisces and Virgo will feel the most pronounced influence.
What should we do? – we turn inward to reassess our accumulated relationship experiences.
The energy of retrograde Venus affects life’s love and financial aspects, causing delays, misunderstandings, and unexpected turns of events. During this time, relationship problems and financial difficulties may arise.
What shouldn’t we do? I recommend avoiding new business ventures. Also, avoid all cosmetic procedures, especially surgeries.

Retrograde Mercury from 15.03 to 07.04.2025
Mercury is a planet of the most materialistic nature. Therefore, it has a strong influence on the everyday life of modern humans. The most unpleasant aspect of this planet’s retrograde cycles is absent-mindedness and constant changes in plans.
Therefore, the main advice for this period is: to pay attention to seemingly insignificant details.
What should we do? – double-check everything and monitor the quality of information exchange, especially through media resources.
What shouldn’t we do? – during the Mercury retrograde period, I don’t recommend buying electronics, heavily investing in digital assets, or starting education. Also, avoid scheduling important negotiations or launching projects related to buying, selling, or communications.
Strong days in March: 4, 8, 13, 19, 24, and 31. Let’s immediately identify weak days for important matters related to worldly affairs: 2-3, 7, 12, 14-15, 18, 23, and 28-29.
And since this year will be colored by Mars energy, you should carefully study the position of this planet in your birth chart. If it is connected with malefic or rules destructive houses, then you should perform upayas to Mangala (the ruler).
March 09 “Amalaki Ekadashi”
Amalaki Ekadashi holds significance due to its connection with other Indian festivals, as it falls between Maha Shivaratri and Holi.
Amla (Indian gooseberry) – energetically connects the practitioner with several subtle energies in the pantheon of gods. It is believed that this day symbolically reflects conscious practice directed towards the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, as she is considered the omnipresent goddess. It is also widely believed that Lord Krishna and his beloved, Goddess Radha, dwell somewhere near the tree. Devotees worship the amla tree to gain good health and prosperity.
March 12, 2025 – Saturn Combustion
The exact aspect between the Sun and Saturn will occur on March 12, 2025, at 10:34 (GMT, Greenwich Mean Time)
This will be quite a challenging day, so if possible, spend it at a calm pace. The influence of this aspect will begin to be felt from March 3 and will last until March 20, 2025. The close conjunction of a planet with the Sun is called “combustion.”
Such conjunction affects health status is not the best way, so during this period, it’s worth paying more attention to “body signals.” Avoid both cooling and heating the body. The conjunction of these two bipolar forces encourages each of us to face our limitations, to compare our Ego’s desires with social boundaries and the karmic influence of circumstances.
To noticeably smooth out the influence of such transits, it is recommended to communicate with pure devotees of God and/or visit spiritual sanctuaries. For this purpose, we visit places such as the Himalayas, Nepal, and Bali.
March 14, 2025 – Total Lunar Eclipse
- Start of eclipse: 05:11 (GMT)
- Maximum phase: 6:54–6:59
- End of eclipse: 8:47
It is believed that the eclipse’s effects manifest in life with a delay of 6 or 18 months after the eclipse. Therefore, it’s important to monitor your thoughts and desires at the moment of the eclipse.
The Vedas tell us that the Moon has a strong influence on our minds and emotions. Any lunar eclipse affects the human psyche specifically, disrupting normal biorhythms, which leads to unstable emotional states and health problems. It especially affects women’s bodies and psyche, which is why females are more susceptible to lunar eclipses than solar ones.
The special time before the eclipse begins 9 hours before its peak – called “Sutak.” During these hours, the most destructive induction accumulates in Earth’s magnetic field, triggering magnetic vortices. The weaker the region, the more deeply these vortices disturb its social environment.
The eclipse will occur in the nakshatra responsible for family relationships, so unusual manifestations are possible there.
It is recommended to concentrate the mind on the mantra of the Moon’s ruler – Chandra.
March 20, 2025 – Spring Equinox
On this day, we can most clearly examine/form and seal our desires. Through visualization practice, we can direct the energy flow that the sun gives on this day into the channel that interests us. Intentions to start something new work well: relationships, a new chapter in life, changing jobs, or country of residence.
At noon on March 20, perform the ritual:
- Candle at eye level
- Straight back, relaxed body
- Chant the creation mantra OM 3 times. In the navel area, visualize your idea being born as a beautiful lotus. Then it opens and rises through the sushumna channel to the space between the eyebrows as a golden sphere. Observe your breathing for exactly 21 cycles without being distracted by other thoughts. Then release the sphere into the cosmos through the sahasrara chakra.
March 25, 2025 – “Papamochani Ekadashi”
The word “papamochani” consists of two roots: “papa” – translates from Hindi as ‘misdeeds’ or ‘sins’, and “mochan” – ‘to liberate’. Therefore, this Ekadashi grants liberation from all committed sins. Furthermore, fasting encourages a person to abstain from possible future misdeeds, which is why all believers consider the observance of this Ekadashi extremely auspicious.
March 29, 2025 – Partial Solar Eclipse
- Start of eclipse: 08:11 (GMT)
- Maximum phase: 10:47–10:58
- End of eclipse: 12:43
It is believed that the eclipse’s effects manifest in life with a delay of 12 or 24 months after the eclipse. This eclipse occurs on the Pisces-Virgo axis. Therefore, people born under these constellations will feel its effects most strongly.
Capricorns and Aquarians may also feel the effects, as well as people going through their Saturn period since the eclipse occurs in the nakshatra “Uttara-Bhadra,” which is ruled by this planet.
I think you already understand that it’s not advisable to start important matters during eclipses. In terms of health, the effect may manifest in the legs and lymphatic system. Psychologically, there may be a victim mentality and falling into past situations, as Ketu is present there.
Sutak – a powerful change in Earth’s magnetic field will be observed 14 hours before its peak.
